Maybelline Fit Me Commercial – What’s the Song?

The track is called 'Big Jet Plane' by Australian duo Angus and Julia Stone. "I wanna kiss her... I wanna take her for a ride on a big jet plane," the pair sing on the track from their 'Down the Way' album. The music is a small part of this commercial, as voiceovers mask most of the song's lyrics.

The spot opens with shots of a model, whose voice says, "Don't change me. Don't hide me. Fit me." A male voice introduces the product, calling it Maybelline's "most natural coverage." Brief shots of New York bridges and buildings are intercut with images of the model.

Angus and Julia Stone recorded 'Down the Way' at several different spots around the world, including Brooklyn, Queens and London. Julia's solo album 'By the Horns' will be released on May 29 in the U.S., while Angus has a new solo record called 'Broken Brights' coming out in July.
