Mini Mansions are about to release their sophomore album, The Great Pretenders, on March 24, and the band has just put forth the latest video from the disc. Check it out below.

"Freakout!" is the second single from The Great Pretenders. It's accompanying video was directed by Mount Elmut, a.k.a. Matthew Newman, who has worked with the Pixies in the past. The video adopts a cut and paste film noir approach which works well with the band's esoteric sounds. It's pop, it's art, it's rock ... and it's also a catchy little tune.

"You’ll get to see the boys like never before and you’ll freak out in the best way possible," the band says in a statement -- and yeah, it's a bit freaky, but not in an evil kind of way.

The new album features help from Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys as well as a guest appearance from the one and only Brian Wilson. Formed in 2009 by Zach Dawes, Michael Shurman and Tyler Parkford, Mini Mansions released their self-titled debut album in 2010. With The Great Pretenders, the band is the first signing to Electromagnetic Recordings, the new label helmed by T Bone Burnett.

In support of their new record, Mini Mansions will hit the road, including a run of dates opening for Royal Blood -- get their full tour dates here.
