In the past, Saturday Night Live's Vanessa Bayer has offered tips to Haim, Sleater-Kinney and a host of other musicians. Now, the latest to be enlightened by Bayer on her webseries Sound Advice is Modest Mouse's Isaac Brock, who wasn't really feeling the idea of a Modest Mouse Pixar movie in which the titular rodent stops being so humble. Check out the video below.

Bayer also suggested that the band change their name, "because modesty is for losers and mice are taking over my apartment,” but Brock shut down the idea, mainly because the legwork would be a hassle. The awkward chat goes on from there, and Brock is a perfectly adequate straightman to Bayer.

This isn't the first time Brock has assisted an SNL alum in a comedic endeavor, as he also had a brief cameo (at 2:30 into the clip) on an episode of Portlandia, which stars former SNL cast member Fred Armisen and Sleater-Kinney's Carrie Brownstein.
