A few months out from the release of their latest album, Strangers to Ourselves, Modest Mouse visited Late Night With Seth Meyers to perform “Pups to Dust.” Check it out above.

Strangers to Ourselves arrived back in March, following 2007’s We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Right around the time Strangers landed in stores, Modest Mouse stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform the album’s lead single, “Lampshades on Fire,” which can be seen here.

While it may have taken eight years for Modest Mouse to return with Strangers, frontman Isaac Brock said fans can expect a follow-up sooner rather than later. Earlier this year, he revealed the band is working on a companion piece and plans to release it “as quickly as it’s legally allowed to be.”

You can catch Modest Mouse on their current tour, which picks up tonight (July 22) with a concert in Brooklyn. This summer, the Portland-based indie-rockers have appeared on a long list of festival lineups, which will continue with upcoming slots at Mo Pop Festival in Detroit; Maha Music Festival in Omaha, Neb.; MusicFest NW in Portland, Ore.; Riot Fest in Chicago; Austin City Limits; and Voodoo Music and Arts Experience in New Orleans. Check out all of their upcoming stops at this location.
