Morrissey Announces Fall 2017 U.S. Tour
Morrissey will promote his upcoming album, Low in High School, with a five-week tour of the U.S. You can see all the dates below.
He'll begin on Oct. 31 at Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland on Oct. 31 and wrap it up on Dec. 7 at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. This includes two previously announced nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in November, where Billy Idol will serve as the opening act.
The itinerary matches up perfectly in order with the list of states, and the District of Columbia, that Morrissey gave out in his second-ever tweet on Monday. His first consisted simply of "Spent the day in bed," which appeared to be the most-Morrissey tweet possible, although a day later we learned that it was the title of the lead single from the album.
Arriving Nov. 17, Low in High School is Morrissey's 11th solo album, and first since 2014's World Peace Is None of Your Business. It was produced by Joe Chiccarelli, who has worked with Oingo Boingo and Tori Amos.
