The Newport Folk Festival returns to Fort Adams State Park in Newport, R.I., on July 26-28 with a variety of folk, bluegrass and folk-rock musicians in tow, among them Beck, the Avett Brothers, Feist, the Lumineers, Jim James, Andrew Bird and the Decemberists' Colin Meloy.

The lineup also features Old Crow Medicine Show, the Mountain Goats, Father John Misty, the Felice Brothers, Jason Isbell, Amanda Palmer, Phosphorescent, Beth Orton, Iris Dement, John McCauley, Shovels & Rope, Lord Huron, Black Prairie, Michael Hurley, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, Langhorne Slim & the Law, Spirit Family Reunion, the Lone Bellow, Blake Mills, the Milk Carton Kids, Bombino, Houndmouth, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Hey Marseilles, the Last Bison, Cold Specks and Kingsley Flood.

Last year’s Newport Folk Festival brought such acts as My Morning Jacket, Iron and Wine, Dawes, the Head and the Heart, Bright EyesConor Oberst and Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard.
