Noel Gallagher, Florence and the Machine’s Florence Welch, Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff and more have come together to sing a pretty silly song for a very good cause.

“Boob Spelled Backwards Is Boob” was written by Archer Nelson, the 8-year-old son of KFOG DJ Mike Nelson, whose wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fellow KFOG in the Morning DJ Greg McQuaid took the young songwriter's lyrics and enlisted a host of musicians -- including the former Oasis guitarist, Welch, Antonoff, Hozier, Graham Nash, members of the Grateful Dead, Steve Earle, Elle King, Vance Joy and more -- to perform his tune for charity. See how the song came together over the course of several months at the San Francisco-based radio station's website, and then check out the results in the video up above.

KFOG's collaborative song has since been dubbed the Boob Project, and the now-complete single will be officially released on Thursday (Oct. 1). Proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
