Pearl Jam have released another clip from their concert movie Let’s Play Two. You can watch the opening section of “Lightning Bolt” above, as the band perform an emotional set at Wrigley Field, the home of the Chicago Cubs baseball team. The film was shot last year, as the Cubs made their way through a historic championship season which saw them win the World Series for the first time in 108 years.

The clip demonstrates the strength of feeling between the band and the crowd as longtime Cubs fan Eddie Vedder encourages them to clap along with the intro, saying, “It’s a gutsy move playing this one right here, you know. Gutsy!” He was captured on video last month busking with street musicians outside Wrigley Field, performing Pearl Jam's “Corduroy” – which has also been clipped from the movie.

Let’s Play Two was premiered to members of the band’s Ten Club last month before being screened in select movie theaters between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3. It’s to be shown on the FS1 network on Oct. 31 before going on sale for home purchase on Nov. 17. The accompanying soundtrack album was released on Sept. 29.

Producers said, “Pearl Jam has forged a relationship with the city, the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field that is unparalleled in the world of sports and music. From Ten to Lightning Bolt, the feature film shuffles through Pearl Jam’s ever-growing catalogue of originals and covers, spanning the band's twenty-five-year career.”

Director Danny Clinch added, “When the main characters of your film are Pearl Jam, the Chicago Cubs, their fans, and Wrigley Field during a historic moment, you know it's going to be epic. Our instincts were correct to follow the story. I have learned to welcome the unexpected and it always pays off if you're ready for it."
