The oft-irritating United States Postal Service recently announced plans to end Saturday delivery, but the much-adored indie-pop duo known as the Postal Service is taking things in the opposite direction: They're expanding plans for their summer live comeback tour, with dates now scheduled through the end of July.

Overall, the outfit – Death Cab for Cutie‘s Ben Gibbard and producer Jimmy Tamborello (aka DNTL), with Jenny Lewis (Jenny & Johnny, Rilo Kiley) and Laura Burhenn (Mynabirds, Bright Eyes) serving as backing musicians on the jaunt -- has added shows in more than a dozen North American and European cities, bolstering a 2013 itinerary that already included appearances at the Coachella and Primavera Soundwave festivals, a pair of arena concerts in Brooklyn, N.Y., and other assorted headlining gigs.

Check out their updated itinerary -- which still kicks off April 9 in Reno, Nev., and now runs through a July 26 show in Berkeley, Calif. -- below.
