Prince Delivers Moving Cover of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ on Piano

When Prince does something, he commits. So, when he made his way to Toronto last night (March 25) for his ongoing Piano & a Microphone tour, he turned out two full, career-spanning sets, five encores and several covers.

During the nearly 60-song concert, Prince tackled Bill Withers’ “Use Me,” Bob Marley’s “Waiting in Vain,” Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You” and David Bowie's "Heroes." And while we would like to be a fly on the wall for any of those moments, we can luckily hear the Purple One transform the 1977 Bowie classic into a moving piano ballad.
