As we shared earlier this week, Ryan Adams recently stopped by the Village Recording Studios in Los Angeles for a session with Spotify (listen here). Following the release of the eight-song performance, Spotify has shared a beautiful black and white video of Adams and the Shining playing 'Stay With Me.' Watch it above.

'Stay With Me' comes from the singer-songwriter's 14th full-length, self-titled LP, released in September. While the Spotify performance is pretty faithful to the studio recording, it's always a treat for fans to take a step behind-the-scenes to see what happens inside the studio.

Most exciting, though, is what you'll hear at the very beginning of the video; Adams opens up about fear: "I don't include fear in my artistic process. That can't exist with me ... it can never exist with me ever again."

Adams is currently on the road through December in support of his new record, and he's gearing up for the release of his latest Pax Am 7-inch, 'Vampires,' set for release on Oct. 28.
