If you're looking to provide your hair with maximum shine, lift, and adorkability, look no further: Zooey Deschanel has signed a deal to become Pantene's 'New Girl.'

Citing the She & Him singer's "signature blunt bangs and quirky vintage wardrobe," Pantene made the announcement by promising that Deschanel would begin promoting its Beautiful Lengths collection in August and "will appear in all elements of the brand’s holistic marketing campaign."

It sounds like a lot of work to us, but Zooey seems pretty happy about it. "I am so excited to be a part of the Pantene family," she enthused, adding, "Anyone who knows me knows that I am really into hair. I’m a real girly girl and love doing my hair and experimenting with different styles. Being a ‘Pantene girl’ has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid."

Continued the triumphant, dream-fulfilling star, "It is really amazing to be representing the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Collection. The products are fantastic, and Pantene also supports the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, which is a wonderful cause. Pantene is helping to provide confidence and beautiful real-hair wigs to women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment; you can’t put a price on that."

Deschanel, who can be seen along with her Pantene-approved tresses on FOX's 'New Girl,' appears on her She & Him bandmate M. Ward's latest solo release, 'A Wasteland Companion,' and is currently busy generating content for her women's entertainment website, HelloGiggles.
