Back in November 2014, Son Little teased us with a brilliant EP, Things I ForgotMore recently he's opened for Mumford and Sons and enjoyed some national coverage with a mini-set on CBS This Morning. Now it's time for the main course. Anti- Records will release Little's self-titled debut on Oct. 16.

"Lay Down," the album's first single (below), might be a song of the year contender. Son Little said of the track: "I wrote this song lying in bed with my lady, listening to the tea kettle whistle. I think about how complicated our lives are, all the ones and zeros distract us from what we really need and want. Sometimes I just want to take your love and hide."
