Airborne Toxic Event Rock Arena-Style at SXSW 2013

The sun was shining bright over SXSW 2013 yesterday (March 14), but that didn't stop Airborne Toxic Event from bringing some serious heat to the outdoor stage at Waterloo Records in Austin. Their set included the tune 'Sometime Around Midnight' (watch it above), which reveals the slight U2 influence in their music. But here, the California crew rocks a bit harder than Bono and co., and after the four-minute mark, they build to a mighty climax.

Earlier this month, Diffuser had the distinct pleasure of debuting 'Safe,' the closing track on the band's brand-new EP, 'The Secret.' The four-song collection arrives just ahead of ATE's third full-length, 'Such Hot Blood,' due out in April.
