Having removed the "1979" from their name, Death From Above have a new album and tour on the way.

Death From Above has again removed the "1979" from its name and given us a new single called "Freeze Me."

The duo made the announcement on their Facebook page as their one-time fellow performers opted to join supergroup Prophets of Rage on the road.

The duo teamed up with Jack White to record the 11-track live album, which will land in stores on Friday.

Death From Above 1979's Sebastian Grainger said, "Canada, get ready for real rock-and-roll and wear your tuxedos."
