Norman Reedus of ‘The Walking Dead’ Will Direct New Music Video for the Bots
L.A.-based garage rockers the Bots have announced they will release a video for “Blinded” – a song that appeared on their buzzed-about debut, Pink Palms, last year – directed by The Walking Dead and The Boondock Saints actor Norman Reedus.
While the official premiere of the video is still TBD, Fader previewed it with some behind-the-scenes footage featuring Reedus and the Bots brothers Mikaiah and Anaiah Lei. Shot in the desert of Barstow, Calif., the video will feature the Bots rocking out while hot rods turn up dust as they speed around the duo.
“We’re probably full of dust right now; I know I am,” Reedus comments in the video. “But it looks cool.”
Stay tuned ‘til the tail end of the clip – which you can watch in full up above -- when Reedus convinces Fader’s videographer to trade shirts and then resumes business as usual.
The Bots also announced a new set of U.S. tour dates, which will kick off at Rough Trade in Brooklyn next month. Then, they have 10 more dates scheduled through the beginning of April. See the full lineup below.
Earlier this month, the Bots performed “Blinded” on Late Night With Seth Meyers, which marked their national television debut.
