Watch the Bots Make Their National Television Debut With Seth Meyers
Hard rocking L.A. duo the Bots made their national television debut last night (Feb. 9) on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers,' performing the song 'Blinded' from their full-length debut, 'Pink Palms.'
The Bots are brothers Anaiah (age 17) and Mikaiah Lei (age 21), on drums and guitar/vocals, respectively. Wise beyond their years, their sound is rooted in the ragged styles of garage, punk, blues and soul. They made their first recordings at the ages of 12 and 15.
Released near end of 2014, 'Pink Palms' has been getting rave reviews at every turn. The brothers have already made a name for themselves on the live stage, playing such notable festivals as Coachella, Outside Lands, Bonnaroo, Riot Fest, Shindig and Afropunk, as well as completing tours with Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Blur, Damon Albarn's Africa Express, Refused and Bad Brains. In addition, there's a good chance you've seen and heard them in Mitsubishi's 'Every Mile Matters' TV commercial.
