Watch the Orwells Cover the Stooges’ ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’
When the Orwells went to Stratton Mountain Resort to perform on the ski slopes, they decided to do a very special rendition of the Stooges' classic, 'I Wanna Be Your Dog.'
As part of the Wild Honey Pie's 'On the Mountain' web series, the band, dressed in their best winter gear, performed a raw punk version of the song, and the video also shows behind-the-scenes clips of what else they did on the Vermont slopes. And while we're sure they were freezing their tails off, the guys powered through the performance and also pulled off 'The Righteous One' and 'Who Needs You.'
Aside from the Orwells, other bands like Ra Ra Riot, Modern Rivals and Wilsen have also filmed their own set for the web video series. You can get details about 'On the Mountain' -- and enjoy even more videos -- here.
