Smashing Pumpkins have announced a string of "acoustic-electro" concerts before the Billy Corgan-led alt-rockers embark on their summer tour with Marilyn Manson. This will mark the band’s very first acoustic tour.

The Pumpkins will make eight stops during the In Plainsong tour, kicking off on June 15 in Buffalo, N.Y. From there, the run of dates will take the band through Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, Tulsa, Des Moines, Kansas City, St. Louis and Minneapolis. Get more details below.

According to the band’s Facebook, the “In Plainsong” sets will feature songs from the Smashing Pumpkins’ catalog in addition to Corgan’s solo work and Zwan material. Corgan also posted this on Twitter:

After the all-acoustic shows wrap up on June 25, Corgan and company will join Marilyn Manson for the End Times tour, which launches on July 7 in Concord, Calif. Dates are scheduled through the beginning of August. Check out a complete itinerary here.

Smashing Pumpkins dropped their most recent full-length, Monuments to an Elegy, last year. Recently, the band debuted a music video for album single, “Drum + Fife," and performed the song on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
