The CW network is getting ready to air another season of 'The Vampire Diaries,' and the promotional trailer for the brand-new batch of episodes features 'What Makes a Good Man?' by the Heavy.

The track, which was released as a single back in April, appeared on the British band’s latest studio album, 'The Glorious Dead,' which hit stores on Aug. 21 via Ninja Tune/Counter Records.

This probably isn’t the first time you’ve heard a tune by the Heavy while watching TV. Miller Lite used both ‘What Makes a Good Man?’ and their 2009 hit 'How You Like Me Now?' in recent advertisements for their beer. The latter song has also been featured in several different films and TV shows, including 'Horrible Bosses,' 'The Change-Up,' 'Limitless,' 'Community' and 'Entourage' – and was even showcased alongside the Temper Trap in a trailer for 'Ted.'

The Heavy – who kicked off their North American tour in Cleveland, Ohio, just a couple of weeks ago – recently appeared on a special anniversary edition of ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ and performed two songs due to an encore request made  by Letterman himself.
