Though Brandon Flowers was forced to cancel a handful of tour dates last month, he’s since resumed his jaunt in support of his latest solo effort, The Desired Effect, and in addition to treating concertgoers to songs from his newly minted LP, he’s been performing a new, non-album track, too.

As NME reports, Flowers has opened a string of concerts with “Come Out With Me” since his return to the stage. Watch him play the new tune during his gig in Oakland, Calif., last week in the fan-shot video the top of the page.

The Desired Effect arrived back in May following Flowers' 2010 solo debut, Flamingo, and the Killers' 2012 full-length, Battle Born. His tour continues tonight (Sept. 6) with an appearance at X Fest in Calgary. He has more festival and concert dates scheduled through October; see a complete itinerary at his website.

Flowers is also set to appear on New Order’s upcoming LP, Music Complete, when it lands in stores on Sept. 25. The Killers frontman contributes to album closer, “Superheated.”
