There’s a long tradition of rock stars' children following in their celebrated parents' footsteps, and it looks like Chris Cornell’s 11-year-old daughter, Toni, has the chops to do just that.

Earlier this week, during the New York City stop of his tour behind his latest solo album, Higher Truth, Cornell brought out his daughter for a sweet duet of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song.” The acoustic performance certainly holds true to Cornell’s previous description of the tour as “unplugged, up close and personal.” Check it out above.

Higher Truth arrived last month, following Cornell’s 2009 solo effort, Scream, and Soundgarden’s 2012 comeback album, King Animal.

Cornell’s tour continues tonight (Oct. 24) in York, Pa. He has more U.S. dates scheduled through Nov. 7, when he’ll play a show in Houston. Then, he heads to New Zealand and Australia for a string of dates. Find a complete itinerary and ticket information at Cornell’s website.
