Watch Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr.’s Poppin’ and Lockin’ Lyric Video for ‘James Dean’

Indie-pop duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. take the lyric video concept to another level with the clip for their song, 'James Dean,' thanks to help from an Instagram celebrity.

The Detroit outfit warm up the winter season with a poolside visual starring dancer Adam Carpenter, who slinks, booty pops and body rolls his way through the song. As he gives his interpretation of the lyrics with a stoic face, you can't help but laugh. It's so good that if the calligraphy lyrics didn't appear throughout the clip, it could easily work as a an official video.

We originally premiered 'James Dean' at the end of September and it's the latest we've heard from Joshua Epstein and Daniel Zott, who just finished their fall North American tour. They're currently wrapping up their third album, set for release next year.
