Hot Chip are about the kick off a second U.K. tour behind their latest album, Why Make Sense?, and throughout their travels behind the 2015 LP, the English outfit has played their seven-minute take on Bruce Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark.” Now, they have laid the track down in the studio and will release it on a forthcoming EP of the same name.

The Dancing in the Dark EP is due out Oct. 23 via Domino. Ahead of that day, the band has shared the Kieran Evans-directed music video for the song that compiles terrifically ‘80s TV and VHS footage (including a drug and alcohol PSA and a series of video dating profiles) and Hot Chip’s performance at New York City’s Webster Hall earlier this year. Check out the results above.

The EP -- which can be pre-ordered at iTunes -- will also include a reworking of Why Make Sense?’s “Cry for You” and remixes of “Huarache Lights.” See the track list at the bottom of the page; you can hear the Soulwax remix of “Huarache Lights” here.

Hot Chip will also reissue a “definitive edition” of Why Make Sense?, which will encompass the original album and the band’s Separate and Dancing in the Dark EPs. That’s also slated for an Oct. 23 release; pre-orders can be made right here.

Though Hot Chip are on tour in the U.K., they will make a pitstop in Oakland, Calif., on Oct. 29. Grab tickets at the band’s website.
