Yo La Tengo just dropped Stuff Like That There, an album featuring covers and reworkings of their own songs. To celebrate, the band made an appearance on CBS This Morning: Saturday to perform a handful of cuts from their latest LP.

Before launching into their rendition of the Cure’s “Friday I’m in Love,” the band discussed their music video for the cover, their beginnings as a band and the alternate names they tossed around before landing on Yo La Tengo (including "Georgia and Those Guys"). Their Saturday Sessions also included performances of their own “Is That Enough” from 2013’s Fade and their Stuff Like That There cover of Special Pillow’s “Automatic Doom.” Watch all three clips below.

Stuff Like That There is out now; you can grab a copy at iTunes or Matador’s website.

Yo La Tengo will kick off a North American tour on Sept. 23 in Troy, N.Y. Then, they have dates scheduled through November, culminating with a show on Nov. 21 in Vancouver. See all of the stops in-between right here.
