A recent overhaul of Weezer’s socials seems to allude to a forthcoming announcement, and many are wondering if it will reveal the fourth installment in their color thematic album series.

Weezer have updated all of their social media profiles -- Twitter, Facebook and Instagram -- with white avatars and cover photos. It’s led some hopeful fans to speculate whether or not the indie-rockers are ready to follow up The Blue Album, The Green Album and The Red Album with The White Album.

It certainly doesn’t seem out of the realm of possibility. Rivers Cuomo and company were very active toward the end of last year, dropping two new singles: “Thank God for Girls” and “Do You Wanna Get High?” Earlier in 2015, they also issued “Everybody Needs Salvation” as a 7” exclusive to their fan club. The band released their most recent full-length Everything Will Be Alright in the End in 2014.

While premiering "Do You Wanna Get High?", Cuomo told Zane Lowe the band had run out their record contract and were using the newfound freedom to experiment with their music. "We don’t have a record deal anymore, so we’re kind of on the loose and experimenting and nobody’s in charge anymore,” he said.

Shortly after posting the white photos, Cuomo broke his silence -- with an acoustic cover of brotherly hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd’s “Come Get Her.” Listen below:
