X Ambassadors have had a busy few months since releasing 'Love Songs Drug Songs,' their major-label debut EP, on KIDinaKorner/Interscope records. The Brooklyn band has spent the summer on the road, performing alongside the likes of Jimmy Eat World, We Are Scientists and Imagine Dragon, whose singer, Dan Reynolds, plays a key role in their story.

After hearing X Ambassadors' brooding, percussion-driven rock on a local radio station, Reynolds sent word to the folks at Interscope, who eventually signed the young group to the roster. It's been a whirlwind ever since, but earlier this summer, before heading out once again for a series of fall dates, the group kicked back in the Bushwick apartment four members share and treated Diffuser.fm to an exclusive stripped-down performance of 'Unconsolable,' the moody lead track from 'Love Songs Drug Songs.'
