You’ll Be Able to Live Stream This Weekend’s Austin City Limits Feat. Alabama Shakes + Many More
Austin City Limits festival kicks off its 14th year this weekend, and even if you can’t make it out to Texas, you can catch many of the performers via Red Bull TV’s live stream.
The live broadcast will capture the annual festival’s first weekend, which runs from Oct. 2-4. Red Bull’s live stream will include sets from Alabama Shakes, Albert Hammond Jr., Daughter, Father John Misty, Gary Clark Jr., Kurt Vile, Royal Blood, Run the Jewels, Shakey Graves, the Decemberists, the Strokes, TV on the Radio and more.
You can start watching from home as soon as 2PM CDT on Friday. A tentative schedule has Royal Blood playing at 3:45PM, Albert Hammond Jr. at 5PM and RtJ at 9PM that day. On Saturday, Father John Misty’s set launches at 6PM, along with the Alabama Shakes and TV on the Radio later that day. The Decemberists help close things out on Sunday at 5:30PM, while the Strokes headline that evening at 9:45PM. ACL promises to share a complete schedule this Thursday.
ACL’s 2015 lineup also includes Foo Fighters, Florence and the Machine, Alt-J, Modest Mouse, Tame Impala and Waxahatchee -- among others. The festival will return for a second weekend from Oct. 9-11.
