We recently learned that one of 2014's favorite indie rock outfits, Future Islands, were currently occupying Abbey Road Studios in London, recording new music. Now, according to NME, not only has it been confirmed that a new album is in the works, but the band debuted two songs from the upcoming material live in concert at the Plug in Sheffield on Sunday (March 29). You can watch the two clips below.

The songs, which the band has been performing during its current U.K. run, are titled "Haunted" and "The Chase." Future Islands told NME that "The Chase" will probably be the first single released, as a standalone track, from the band's Abbey Road sessions.

They have a handful of U.S. tour dates currently scheduled, their biggest being an appearance with Grace Jones at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Sept. 27. You can view their current tour itinerary at their official website.
