Melvins Drummer Dale Crover Takes the Ice Bucket Challenge

Mackie Osborne

Joining an already massive list of musicians who have already taken the Ice Bucket Challenge – including Foo Fighters, ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic and Pearl Jam – Melvins drummer Dale Crover did his part to spread awareness of ALS at a recent OFF! show in Atlanta. Watch him accept the challenge in the video below.

Crover is on tour with OFF! — the SoCal punk supergroup featuring Circle Jerks singer Keith Morris, Burning Brides frontman Dimitri Coats and Redd Kross bassist Steven Shane McDonald — through the end of the month, filling in for Rocket from the Crypt drummer Mario Rubalcaba.

After Crover endures the bucket of ice water poured over his head, he passes the challenge along to a few guys you might’ve heard of: Tool guitarist Adam Jones and Melvins bassist Jared Warren.
