Although the name keeps changing, the main players remain the same: Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López are back with Antemasque -- their third project together since At the Drive-In and the Mars Volta.

More of a toned down and intimate collaboration between the pair than the sprawling sounds of the Mars Volta, Antemasque have already unveiled four songs from their upcoming self-titled full-length -- which surfaced briefly on Bandcamp until it was removed -- due out in October via Nadie Sound. Recorded in March, the album features contributions from the Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

And now, they've announced an upcoming worldwide tour, including an appearance at the 2015 Soundwave festival in Australia.
