Former Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook and his new band, the Light, made an appearance at the Metro Cabaret in Chicago on Friday night (Nov. 14), where they treated concert-goers to a pleasant surprise. Throughout the band’s current tour, they’ve been playing material from New Order’s 1985 album, ‘Low-Life,’ and 1986 album, ‘Brotherhood’; however, they closed the evening with the Joy Division classic, ‘Love Will Tear Us Apart.’

In the video above, you’ll see that Light and company were joined by Smashing PumpkinsBilly Corgan and Jeff Schroeder for the performance.
