Blink-182 Share New Single ‘Bored to Death,’ Unveil Huge Summer Tour
Blink-182 version 2.0 have finally let loose the first new music from their upcoming album and revealed plans for a massive summer tour in support of it.
The hugely influential pop-punk trio unveiled "Bored to Death," the lead single from California – their first full-length without founding vocalist and guitarist Tom DeLonge after he walked away from the band early last year. Mark Hoppus (vocals, bass) and Travis Barker (drums) brought in Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba as DeLonge's replacement.
They'll release California on July 1, but the vintage sound of "Bored to Death" should reassure fans that Blink-182 haven't veered far from the angst-riddled lyrics and double-time drumming that thrust the band into the mainstream.
Blink also announced dates for their extensive summer tour in support of the album. They'll hit the road in mid-July and will be joined by A Day To Remember, All American Rejects and All Time Low. Check out the full itinerary below.
