"They’ll hear, ‘Oh, Tom’s doing some alien, flying saucer thing," the one-time Blink-182 guitarist said of his upcoming novel. "That’s not what this is. This is a big deal.”
Tom DeLonge has kept his plate plenty full since splitting with Blink-182 – including, apparently, work with Area 51-related matters of “national security.”
