Upon the release of their comeback album, The Magic Whip, Blur visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to perform “Ong Ong,” a joyous tune from their new LP that proclaims, “I wanna be with you.” It’s perfectly suited to celebrate the Britpop outfit’s long-awaited return, and now, the English rockers have transformed the song into an 8-bit video game in its new music video.

The clip opens with the real-life Blur -- Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree -- fashioned in human-size costumes: an ice cream cone and a giant fly, just to name two. They then seemingly enter the video game as the nemeses of the protagonist, a smiling yellow ball on a quest to reunite with its love interest. See if it gets its happy ending in the video above.

While Blur are officially on the reunion circuit (they have a few upcoming tour dates scheduled in the U.K.), their erstwhile rivals Oasis are still submerged in back-and-forth rumors debating whether or not they will reform, too. For what’s its worth, Blur’s Alex James recently threw his two cents into the conversation, saying, “I hope they get back together.”

He also said the ‘90s Battle of the Britpop is long since behind the two bands. “Liam’s [Gallagher] come out and said ‘Lonesome Street’ is his favorite song of the year, god bless him,” James said. “And Damon and Noel [Gallagher] are quite good friends now. So, I think, let’s focus on the positives.”
