Deftones Guitarist Says They'll Release Their Next Album in April

You can never really be too certain when it comes to Deftones and deadlines, but guitarist Stephen Carpenter said during a recent interview that the band have set an April 8 release date for their upcoming album.

The interview was with ESP Guitars at the National Association of Music Merchants trade show in Anaheim, California. “[We’re] sitting around waiting for the release of our new record,” Carpenter said. “Comes out April 8th, and we have some dates in Texas in March.”

The follow-up to 2012's Koi No Yokan will be the band's eighth full-length.
