Morrissey was accused of being a “drama queen” after he canceled the fourth show of his current U.S. tour in Paso Robles, Calif., last night (Nov. 5), citing a problem with onstage heating as the reason.

As reported by Sllicing Up Eyeballs, fans were told by a representative of the open-air Vina Robles Amphitheatre that the concert had been called off because the heating system wasn’t working. According to one fan, they waited for almost an hour before the decision was made.

“Travelled from [Texas] to see Morrissey and he cancelled at the last minute. F--- that drama queen. Never again. Rot in hell,” tweeted one fan. Another said, “I will never attempt to see your show again.” Another posted a picture of her concert ticket, which promises the event will go ahead “rain or shine” and called the former Smiths frontman a “punk ass bitch.”

Morrissey has developed a reputation for canceling shows after a number of call-offs in recent years. In 2016 a U.S. tour encountered a number of scheduling problems, after road trips in 2013 and 2014 had also been shelved.

The tour, which kicked off in Portland, Ore., on Oct. 31, is designed to promote upcoming album Low in High School, which is set for release on Nov. 17. He recently said of the follow-up to 2014’s World Peace is None of Your Business, “My concern wanders to anyone feeling academically or spiritually low in high school. Can young people ever be carefree again? It’s a question.” He stated that the common thread running through the songs consisted of “a rage in the blood, plus endless hooks,” and added, “Good chart music does not need to be completely impersonal. Although people have been trained to not expect very much from modern music, there is, I find, always so much so say and play, and here it is.”

His next schedule appearance is on Nov. 10 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles – see the remaining tour dates below.
