Foo Fighters Announce Huge 20th Anniversary Show In Washington D.C.
As we know the all-American Foo Fighters by now, they don't do anything half-assed -- with their new album coming out soon and their current HBO series underway, the band has already announced some pretty major shows.
Today (Nov. 6) they've unveiled details for an expected gig in the nation's capital -- a major all-day show at Washington D.C.'s RFK Stadium on July 4, 2015 -- stacked with support from Buddy Guy, Gary Clark Jr., Heart, Joan Jett, LL Cool J and DJ Z-Trip, Trouble Funk and Trombone Shorty. You can purchase tickets this coming Saturday, Nov. 8, here. There will be no pre-sale.
They recently announced another date for their 'Sonic Highways' 2015 world tour at Wrigley Field in Chicago next August. That show will feature support from '90s alt-rockers Urge Overkill as well as Naked Raygun and Cheap Trick. If the rest of the dates on the Foos' world trek continue to be this epic, we may be in store for the greatest tour in music history.
