Just days after announcing plans to play Chicago's Wrigley Field in 2015, the Foo Fighters have unveiled details for the all-star lineup. The "extravaganza" -- as it's referred to by the Foos' press team -- will be a day-long event and celebration of the musical culture and history of the Windy City.

One of Chicago's premier alternative rock acts from the '90s, Urge Overkill, will be opening the day's festivities, followed by Naked Raygun -- for the uninitiated, Naked Raygun were the first band Dave Grohl ever saw live in Chicago.

Then, keeping the momentum moving blazingly fast ahead of the highly-anticipated headliners, Cheap Trick will take the stage (of course, Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen is embedded in Foo Fighters' upcoming album, 'Sonic Highways,' specifically the new track, 'Something From Nothing').

Tickets for this "multigenerational" gig go on-sale to the public on Monday, Oct. 27 at 10AM CT -- but fan club pre-sales kick off this Friday, Oct. 24. Get ticket details here.
