When fun. singer Nate Ruess belts, "This is it, boys, this is war' in the lyrics to 'Some Nights,' he apparently means it. The band will premiere their video for the title track of their 'Some Nights' album on MTV next Monday afternoon, but they've slipped a little teaser taste of the clip.

In the 40-second preview, we see Ruess and his bandmates joining other members of the video's cast dressed in colonial style military garb, getting ready to go to war against each other. The Anthony Mandler-directed clip also features shots of the band performing against the backdrop of a rocket-glared sky, with Jack Antonoff pounding away on the drum around his neck and Andrew Dost banging on a beat up piano.

This is a big week for fun., who will hit the West Coast for appearances at Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards (9PM ET/6PM PT) and on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on June 4, the same day as the video's premiere. Other future TV appearances include stops by the 'Today' show on June 21 and 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' on June 22.

Fun. also have a big summer of touring ahead of them, headlining dates and also performing at such festivals as Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Osheag, and Outside Lands.
