After an instantly legendary appearance on 'Late Show With David Letterman' back in March, Future Islands returned to late-night TV last night. And the Baltimore band tore up 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' with two songs from its latest album, 'Singles'.

Their first number was the mellow, groovy 'Doves,' which you can watch above. Audience members do their best to keep up with frontman Samuel T. Herring's anomalous dance moves, which are pretty much expected at this point. It really wouldn't be a Future Islands show without them.

Herring brought out some soul-shaking twists on Future Islands' second song, the peppy synth-driven 'Spirit.' You can watch the video of that performance below.

The band kicks off its European tour tomorrow, before returning to the States for a few select dates in late August and early September.
