Last night, Ice Cube made an appearance on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' to plug his upcoming move, '22 Jump Street.' Kimmel decided to get a few laughs by taking advantage of the former N.W.A. member's predilection for grumpy roles . So he gave Cube some lines that, if delivered by just about anybody else, would be nice and sweet. Cube chuckled until the lights came down, then his face transformed into the scary mask we're all familiar with.

Our favorite line is easily, "Man, gimme some damn pumpkin bisque!" He kind of flubbed that whole section and blamed it on the L.A. public school system. But really, his ad-libbing made the joke better.

In an interview with the Vancouver Sun, Cube said he never really planned for his career to take the turn it did, but he's happy with how things have worked out.

“I’m always figuring out how far I should go,” said Ice Cube. “But I must admit playing a straight man has worked out for me.”

It was recently announced that his son, O'Shea Jackson Jr. will play Ice Cube in an upcoming N.W.A. biopic titled 'Straight Outta Compton.' We don't know how many laughs will be in that film, but it still sounds interesting.

Some time back, Ice Cube, Kevin Hart and Conan O'Brien got together to take a ride using the Lyft app, and they filmed the whole adventure. Check that out below.
