Two years ago, Dinosaur Jr. turned to Funny or Die to create a video for their song, 'Watch the Corners,' and frontman J Mascis must've been pleased with the results.

Mascis has once again partnered with the comedy site to produce a new video for 'Every Morning' (above), from his solo album, 'Tied to a Star,' released yesterday (Aug. 26). Set in 1974, Mascis plays the mystical leader of a religious hippie cult called the Space Children Of The Forest that -- according to the video -- mysteriously disappeared, and there's a chance the shady character played by 'Portlandia' star Fred Armisen might've had something to do with it.

It's not the first time Mascis and Armisen have teamed up: Mascis joined Armisen on-stage last November at a performance at Boston’s Berklee College of Music and also announced 'Tied to a Star' back in May when he sat in with Armisen and the 8G Band on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers.'

Look closely and you'll also spot the Shins' frontman James Mercer as an egg-loving member of the cult.
