Kendrick Lamar is currently being sued by photographer Giordano Cipriani, who alleged that the rapper used his photograph on the cover of single "The Blacker the Berry" without permission.

The photographer claims that he received no payment for the photo used for the To Pimp a Butterfly track, and is suing Lamar for $150,000 for each time the image was used, and additional money to cover legal fees. Cipriani filed the lawsuit on July 10 in New York Federal Court and is asking the judge to stop Lamar from continuing to use the image.

Cipriani said he took the photograph of a mother breastfeeding her children during a trip to Africa in 2010. Lamar and his management have yet to reply to the allegation. He's pretty busy at the moment, currently on tour in support of To Pimp a Butterfly. Check out his complete upcoming tour dates at his website.
