‘Kick-Ass 2’ — the sequel to the 2010 flick starring Aaron Taylor-JohnsonChloë Grace Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse — is set to hit theaters on Aug. 16, and the trailer for the superhero comedy features a couple of tunes that you may recognize.

The first song is ‘Infinity Guitars’ by Sleigh Bells — aka the Brooklyn-based duo of Alexis Krauss and Derek E. Miller — and is from their 2010 debut album ‘Treats.’ It also surfaced in a Windows Phone commercial back in 2011. Some of the band's other tunes have appeared in recent TV spots, including a Dr. Pepper ad and trailers for ‘Pain & Gain’ and ‘The Bling Ring.’

Emerging roughly halfway through the clip is ‘War’ by British dubstep up-and-comer Caspa. The track, which features vocals by the Prodigy’s Keith Flint, dropped in June 2012, with an action-packed music video following its release. Caspa was also featured on the ‘Halo 4’ remix album alongside such artists as James Iha, Hundred Waters, Gui Boratto, Sander van Doorn, Maor Levi, Bobby Tank, KOAN Sound and Andrew Bayer.
