Based on a true story, ‘Pain & Gain’ is an upcoming action-packed comedy starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as bodybuilders who transform into criminals. The trailer for the flick features ‘Kids’ by Alexis Krauss and Derek E. Miller – a duo more popularly known as Sleigh Bells.

‘Kids’ is a track from their debut release, 'Treats,’ which dropped back in 2010 via Mom + Pop Music. In addition to appearing in the movie preview (see below), the song was used in an ad for Kopparberg cider and a promo for MTV’s North American remake of the British teen drama ‘Skins.’ Other songs by Sleigh Bells surfaced in commercials for Victoria’s Secret and Nokia earlier this year.

In February, the group unleashed a sophomore record, ‘Reign of Terror,’ and embarked on an extensive tour. They’ve also hinted at working on a new album with a tentative 2013 release date.

Sleigh Bells recently performed alongside numerous artists at a Hurricane Sandy benefit show at New York City's Terminal 5. Click here for a recap of the performance.
