The Killers have released a new boxing-themed video for their track “The Man” – adding to the hype surrounding the upcoming boxing match between light middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather and mixed martial artist Conor McGregor. Watch the clip above.

It’s the second track to come out from their fifth album Wonderful Wonderful, set for launch on Sept. 22 via Island Records. The band previously released “Run for Cover” from the follow-up to 2012’s Battle Born.

The LP contains another reference to boxing in the song “Tyson vs Douglas” – inspired by the 1990 fight in which Mike Tyson was knocked down for the first time in his career, which then headed into a tailspin. Frontman Brandon Flowers said recently, “I don’t know why, but I think about it all the time and I finally tried to tackle it in a song – what it meant to have this hero of mine get torn down, and then everything that happened after that.”

The new video was made in conjunction with Showtime PPV, co-presenters of the fight broadcast, who contributed footage of both boxers to accompany the band’s own scenes. Mayweather vs. McGregor takes place on Aug. 26 and Fathom Events will present the fight live in selected cinemas across the U.S. with tickets on sale now.

The Killers commence another run of tour dates on Oct. 8 which takes in North America and the U.K., running until Feb. 6 next year. Their last release was 2016 Christmas compilation Don’t Waste Your Wishes, made up of tracks recorded for Bono’s (RED) charity. Wonderful Wonderful is available for pre-order in a range of formats.
