As a new commercial suggests, Lipton iced tea can make you come alive no matter where you are – in fact, just one sip of the delicious, refreshing drink might have you partying in the streets and dancing on parked cars. The song featured in the feelgood ad is Givers’ ‘Up Up Up.’

Hailing from Lafayette, La., Givers comprises Tiffany Lamson, Taylor Guarisco, Kirby Campbell, Josh LeBlanc and Nick Stephan. The tune is from their record, ‘In Light,’ which dropped back in 2011 via Glassnote. The disc received mediocre reviews from critics, and according to Spin, it’s “best absorbed in small portions, allowing you to savor the seriously catchy melodies and uplifting vibes. Consumed all at once, the songs tend to blur together, producing a bright rush that's just as likely to inspire jitters as ecstasy.”

In addition to the Lipton commercial (watch below), ‘Up Up Up’ surfaced in recent ads for Windows 8 and Nokia. The track also appeared on FOX’s musical sitcom ‘Glee’ last April.

You may have seen Givers perform at a number of 2012 festivals, including Lollapalooza, Coachella and the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Click here to keep up with the band’s latest news.
