Listen to the Dear Hunter’s New Song, ‘Wait’

Back in June, the Dear Hunter officially announced their new album, Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise, a continuation of the band’s ongoing six-part series of concept albums. The Rhode Island-hailing prog-rockers have now shared “Wait,” the third track to emerge from the upcoming LP. Listen below:

Previously, the Casey Crescenzo-led outfit debuted the album’s nine-minute lead single, “A Night on the Town,” and “Waves.” Check out the complete tracklist at the bottom of the page.

Act IV is due out Sept. 4 on Cave & Canary Goods/Equal Vision Records, and it’s the Dear Hunter’s first new concept album since 2009’s Act III: Life and Death. The series launched with the band’s 2006 debut, Act I: The Lake South, The River North. However, they took a break to release a pair of non-concept albums, including their most recent effort, 2013’s Migrant.

The Dear Hunter will kick off a world tour later this month. They’ll make their way to the states on Sept. 11 with a concert in Akron, Ohio. From there, they have dates scheduled through October, including a performance at Riot Fest in Chicago on Sept. 12. Take a look at the complete itinerary below.
