Following the release of his sophomore album Fresh Blood back in March, Matthew E. White announced today (July 22) that he will also be releasing a "No Skin" version of the album, meaning stripped down and without strings, horns or choir, digitally on July 24. White has shared the "No Skin" version of "Vision" -- you can give it a listen below (via Stereogum).

White also released a video for the album version of "Vision." The clip is directed by Clara Aranovich, and features Twilight's Edi Gathegi and Neighbours' Caitlin Stasey. Aranovich said of the video, which you can watch below, "I’m generally more drawn towards narrative videos and had been doing some research into the life experiences of the visually impaired (believe it or not, it was not the title "Vision" that inspired the idea of exploring blindness but rather a coincidence). The song lends itself so beautifully to the growth and conclusion of a complete story that the writing process was breezy."

White will hit the road for his tour next week; check out his upcoming itinerary at his website.
